Radyo Veritas Chapel
The Radyo Veritas Chapel is probably the most heavily used Catholic chapel in South East Asia if not in the whole of Asia. It is used 24/7 for broadcasts of the Mass to Asia from it’s chapel in its studios in Quezon City. The pandemic period further highlighted the importance of a chapel that would be connecting more meaningfully with the faithful who were locked down in their homes with no other possibility of attending Mass to nourish their souls in the most trying of times. The upgrading of the chapel to better help the piety of the faithful was undertaken for a better online experience for the TV & internet-based faithful. The Blessed Mother and St John, both carved in wood, were added to the presiding crucifix, while the two local saints, Lorenzo Ruiz and Pedro Calungsod were included in the lateral niches. Finishes were also improved with the introduction of silver leafed ornaments and moldings.
